We have been on the hunt for a good floral fabric print for ages. We are extremely picky about florals - too bright & it looks like outdoor fabric, too busy & it looks like wallpaper, too large & it looks like drapery. But, we KNEW the perfect florals we were looking for existed somewhere, we just had to keep hunting. And, after months of searching, we believe we've found them! The PERFECT floral fabric! We are so crazy about these prints & we know you will be too, are you ready to see them?? 

We're back with our favorite pillow combos for your couch! Sometimes it's hard to visualize which are the best throw pillows to pair with others, but we're here to help with that!

We're so excited to finally show off our first set of brand new throw pillows for 2021! We leaned a little into the clean & mid-century aesthetic when we picked our fabrics this time and we have no regrets! Each of these new pillows are such strong, beautiful pieces on their own you *almost* wouldn't need to pair anything with them. 

Today let's talk about our favorite pillow combos for a gray couch! Gray couches have become hugely popular over the last 5 years and sometimes it's hard to know which colors coordinate best with it. Do you choose cool or warm tones? Can you put browns on gray? So we're going to share some examples of our favorite pillow combos for a gray couch!

Keeping Things Cool

If cool colors (think blues & light grays) are your vibe then you're in luck because those colors coordinate beautifully with all grays - light gray, dark gray, and every gray in between. We love the way our deep Navy Corduroy looks paired with our Stitch Print here. It's a classic, casual look and has some great contrast. 

Mixing Patterns

If you're not afraid of mixing patterns, this is a great pillow combo for you to try. It's a little bit cool, a little bit warm and has loads of texture & visual interest. The indigo blue color of Irene is on the warmer end of the cool-tone spectrum which is why it pairs so nicely with Elsie which is a warm, cozy cream color. This combo is like art for your couch. 

Warm & Modern

Customers ask us all the time if they can put brown pillows on their gray couch. Our answer is: ABSOLUTELY! Brown actually coordinates really really well with grays & blacks. Gray can sometimes feel a little cold & stark, so pairing a nice rich brown tone with it really cozies things up! We love our Brown Faux Leather paired with a more modern stripe like Ashton. It's a great mid-century combo & looks stunning on a gray couch.

Here's another warm & modern combo. This one gives us all the cozy/moody vibes - Brown Faux Leather, Arthur, Alexander, and Lorraine. 

Mix Things Up!

Pillow combos don't need to be matchy-matchy, it's more than ok to have 4 or 5 completely different pillows on your couch! As long as the colors compliment each other and there is some variety in the type & scale of the print, you can do just about anything - like this combo of Mountain Fox, Olive Corduroy, Peppercorn, and Brown Faux Leather. 

Our scented candle family just grew by 2! Our hand-poured, coconut soy candles are our pride & joy and we are so excited to introduce 2 new fragrances! We poured these about a month ago, but we were waiting (not so patiently) on our new labels, which finally arrived last week. Don't those beautiful matte black labels look so chic?? We are in love! But let's get to the new scents already shall we??

Lavender + Sage

Picking new candle fragrances was no easy task this time. We were really looking for scents that could work year-round, not just seasonal or during the holidays. Lavender + Sage felt like the perfect fit - crisp & refreshing for spring/summer, but also relaxing & calming for the rest of the year. And we can all use a little calm these days right?

Berry + Bourbon

This candle is such an interesting blend of fragrances, we almost named it "Just Trust Us." A unique blend of sweet berries, smokey rich bourbon, and a hint of amber combine to make the most intoxicatingly clean & sophisticated fragrance. Just trust us on this one, it's real good.
